On July 25, Tramy Soy Product Science Popularization Base, together with the Community Innovation House of Xuanqiao Town, held a soybean-themed science popularization study tour activity. Parent-child families embarked on an exploration journey covering soybean breeding, traditional craftsmanship and modern food technology.

This activity forms part of the base’s "Healthy Life Starts with Beans · Fun Soy Summer Study Tour Season". The event opened with the science film The Little Soybean’s Metamorphosis, vividly presenting the whole growth cycle of soybeans and the processing of soybean products. Afterwards, participants immersed themselves in learning traditional tofu-making procedures at the soybean product science popularization corner. They learned about the flavour differences between northern and southern tofu and tofu food culture, and operated antique stone mills by hand to experience traditional craftsmanship.

In the germplasm popularisation session, children observed different soybean germplasm samples and understood the importance of seed industry innovation to the quality of soybean products. Through transparent sightseeing corridors, the group visited the standardized laboratory, observed the quality inspection procedures for soybean products, and viewed the whole production process via real-time monitoring, building a complete understanding from germplasm source to dining table.

During the special lecture, the instructor explained three soybean curd coagulation techniques using gypsum, brine and glucono delta-lactone, revealing the scientific principles behind the varied textures of different types of tofu. Children engaged actively and gained knowledge through Q&A interactions.

As one series event of "Healthy Life Starts with Beans · Fun Soy Summer Study Tour Season", the activity draws on Tramy’s full industrial chain resources. Through film screening, on-site observation, hands-on experience and special lectures, it disseminates soybean knowledge, inherits tofu culture, and guides teenagers to establish healthy dietary concepts.
