As summer arrives and all things thrive, Tramy convened the kick-off meeting for its 2026 National Work Safety Month on June 3, officially launching the series of activities for the 25th national Work Safety Month themed Everyone Prioritises Safety, Everyone Responds to Emergencies – Identify and Rectify Hidden Risks. Li Ming, Vice President of Tramy, Jiang Xiaoyun, Director of the EHS Department, and other management personnel attended the meeting and delivered speeches for mobilisation and work arrangement. More than 150 participants were present, including officials from Xuanqiao Town Government, District Emergency Management Bureau and Fire Brigade, as well as persons-in-charge of each subsidiary, workshop directors and part-time safety officer representatives.
At the opening of the meeting, the EHS Department issued the Implementation Plan for the 2026 Work Safety Month. Closely aligned with the annual campaign theme and centred on hidden hazard identification and rectification, the plan defined five key special initiatives. All subsidiaries are required to formulate their respective activity plans before June 5 to ensure standardised implementation and orderly progress of all Work Safety Month tasks.
Following the mobilisation speeches, all attendees watched the official promotional video for Work Safety Month. Shocking real footage of safety accidents and severe consequences resulting from irregular operations served as a stark warning for every participant. All participants agreed that such painful lessons must never be repeated. They pledged to keep safety awareness firmly in mind, fulfil the primary responsibility for work safety, and fully implement all safety management and control measures.
Subsequently, Jiang Xiaoyun, Director of the EHS Department, outlined core arrangements for the Work Safety Month covering four major components: comprehensive inspection and rectification of safety hazards, regular safety science popularisation campaigns, special events for the Work Safety Promotion & Consultation Day, and in-depth development of corporate safety culture. Towards the closing of the meeting, Vice President Li Ming put forward three requirements. First, keep a sharp eye on all types of potential risks and achieve the full elimination of hidden dangers across all premises. Second, improve emergency response capabilities to tackle unexpected incidents calmly with proficient practical skills. Third, strengthen safety culture development rooted in care for employees and their families, so as to build unified safety awareness among all staff.
Upon the conclusion of the kick-off ceremony, managers from all subsidiaries and departments together with frontline employees took turns signing their names solemnly on the themed banner Everyone Prioritises Safety, Everyone Responds to Emergencies – Identify and Rectify Hidden Risks. The written commitment reinforces work safety accountability for every employee and fosters a sound corporate atmosphere where all staff take initiative to safeguard workplace safety collectively.
