Tramy, the brand owned by Shanghai Tramy Green Food (Group) Co., Ltd., was officially included in the roster of Shanghai Time-honored Brands in March 2026, standing among the 18 newly-certified enterprises selected across Shanghai for the same year.

Tramy’s brand origins date back to 1919, when Shen Apei, an artisan hailing from Shangyu, founded the brand in the former Nanhui County of Jiangsu Province. The brand gained local renown with signature offerings including Tramy Tofu and Shen-style Stone-ground Rice Cakes. Its exquisite craftsmanship and rigorous quality benchmarks laid a solid foundation for the brand’s century-long legacy.

Brand differentiation sits at the core of the Group’s competitive development strategy. Capitalizing on this accreditation milestone, the Group’s cultural project team is conducting in-depth research into Tramy’s historical and cultural connotations to pave the way for the brand’s application for China Time-honored Brand accreditation and the development of clustered industrial zones for time-honored brands. The development strategy centering on the intangible cultural heritage-backed time-honored brand also constitutes a key initiative to implement the Group’s comprehensive quality philosophy known as the "Three Categories and One Standard", namely product category optimization, brand building, quality upgrading and standardized production management.
