At 9:30 a.m. on March 20, the Jiayuan Public Living Room of Tianping Subdistrict, Xuhui District, was filled with the inviting fragrance of wontons and wrapped in warm hospitality. A public welfare event for elderly care initiated by the "Baoyile" Volunteer Team was held as scheduled. Volunteers gathered with elderly residents of the community to make seasonal spring vegetable wontons, conveying neighborhood warmth amid laughter and joy. The heartwarming event received full charitable support from Tramy.

The venue was permeated with a lively and cozy atmosphere. Children from Wuyuan Road Kindergarten delivered wonderful performances, bringing bright smiles to the elderly attendees. Volunteers sat around together and quickly folded wontons with high-quality ingredients provided by Tramy, under the guidance of Tramy pastry engineers. Filled with fresh pork, shepherd’s purse, bamboo shoots and other seasonal fillings and wrapped in chewy wonton wrappers, each handmade wonton was filled with sincere goodwill.

In the kitchen, plump wontons were boiled in hot soup, while the broth garnished with chopped scallions exuded an enticing aroma. Large handmade wontons, twelve per bowl, were served steaming hot. As the elderly took a gentle bite, the fresh and savory flavor lingered on their taste buds.

This annual public welfare gathering to care for the elderly has been held for four consecutive years. All supplies for the event, including wonton wrappers and fillings, were generously sponsored by Tramy. Aunt Wu, aged 88, was deeply touched upon receiving the thoughtful wontons and repeatedly praised the considerate and heartwarming gesture.
